Christmas Jokes

In Salt Lake City a dilatory housewife bought a last-minute box of one hundred identical Christmas cards, and, not even pausing to read the message inscribed thereon, feverishly dispatched them to the ninety-nine relatives and acquaintances whose own greetings already were displayed on her piano top and mantel. Some days later she accidentally picked up the one card left, and ready what it said in a state of shock: "This little card is just to say, 'A gift you'll love is on its way.' "
