- Engish: "Miss ***, would you care to dance?"
- French: "Mademoiselle ***, Voudriez-vous dansez avec moi?" (or, even better) "Mademoiselle ***, puis-je avoir l'honneur supreme de cette danse?"
- Italian: "***, Balliamo?" or "***, vuoi ballare con me?"
- Latin: "***, saltabis?"

If you're using Latin, make sure you put the lady's name in the vocative (not hard for first-declension names, but if it's third, be careful).
ah, thank you! I'm not sure that I will ever end up using Latin...but you never know :)
